It will be prime huckleberry season that weekend, so grab a bucket and get picking! Some of the best berries may be ready at one of our favorite hiking spots, the Roosevelt Ancient Cedar Grove!
Grab a huckleberry daquiri at Elkins on the way back!
If you have a free day, go to Idaho’s only natural rock waterslides—don’t forget your Tevas and garbage bags!
If you have access to a boat or can rent a canoe, Upper Priest is a great day option for a piece of true rustic paradise

You can rent paddleboards, canoes and kayaks and aqua-bikes at Hills Resort, which also happens to have amazing cocktails!
Indian Rock is our favorite place for some (only mildly dangerous) cliff jumping and can be accessed by car or boat
